The Yorkshire Deli Café and shop is situated in the heart of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales town of Ilkley.

In the café we use the best quality ingredients from Yorkshire to produce fresh, home-made cakes, scones and sandwiches as well as more substantial dishes, either to eat in or take away.

Our Menu

Our menu will change regularly to reflect the availability of seasonal produce and daily changing specials. In the mornings we have a breakfast menu from which you can choose light options or a more traditional Yorkshire breakfast with poached or scrambled eggs, or bacon sandwiches - surprisingly difficult to get hold of in Ilkley!

Or, come and relax with us over a pot of Yorkshire Tea with a home made scone fresh from the oven, with some organic clotted cream and some farm-produced jam - a cream tea at a fraction of the price of that of our more famous neighbour. Or, try some Yorkshire Brack (a deliciously moist traditional fruit tea loaf) or a slice of one of our freshly made cakes.

Or how about a freshly made sandwich with some Yorkshire ham on the best quality local bread – perhaps with some creamy Wensleydale cheese and some Yorkshire Ale Chutney on the side?

If you’re even more peckish we can rustle up a more substantial meal using only the best Yorkshire ingredients – our menu changes daily and takes advantage of the vast variety of seasonal produce available in the county. You might find a Beef in Yorkshire Ale option alongside a Chicken Korma, served either with rice or a jacket potato, or inside a giant Yorkshire Pudding!

In the colder months we always have a choice of hearty soups available, again, freshly prepared on the premises using only the finest local ingredients.

Special Requirements

We will aim to always have vegetarian sandwich choices available and we can also provide a range of options which are gluten free. We will always aim to cater for any other special requirements as far as possible.

Directions

On Foot:  From Ilkley railway station turn right towards the town centre and cross Brook Street to contiinue along The Grove. At WH Smiths store turn right down the incline towards the central car park. The Yorkshire Deli Cafe is on your right just as you enter the pedestrianised section.

By Car: Park in the main central car park. The Yorkshire Deli Cafe is situated on the southern edge of the pedestrianised perimeter to the car park, at the end of The Grove Promenade, diagonally opposite the back of WH Smiths store.
